Another suggestion is not allowing the B.A.S.E. Jumper, as I believe that does actually slow players descent, which doesn't seem too much of a problem in a lot of maps, but while playing "dr_baby_pirate_adventure", multiple times a player deployed it and survived a trap they should've really died in, e.g. jumping over spikes that come up from the floor, but not high enough to kill them if they've jumped, and having been pushed off of a ledge, they jump half way, and deploy the B.A.S.E. Jumper, and float to the other platform at the end.
