No, we need ads to fund for the servers, that's just how it works I don't see why it's an issue we run them if they aren't even enforced as he said.

We aren't pay to play, playing on our servers is free and you are also free to be on the Guards team however we give donators priority over normal users as they're helping us out and on average they know how to play the game better which can help guarantee a better experience in Jailbreak.

We are not pay to play, everything on our servers is normally accessible, if you want you can provide me an example of a feature that is only accessible to donators besides the fun, silly commands we give them that don't relate to the game modes we provide and things like this slight advantage which actually on average make the experience better for users as R4 explained before. I honestly don't see any issue with this and most users don't seem to either, a majority of the users playing on the Guard team are users who haven't donated a penny to us and you can be autobalanced anyway with or without a donator being on, it's just more likely you or someone else will be if a donator is trying to play on the Guards and saying that we are pay to play and comparable to Battlefront 2 because of that is simply ridiculous.

2. I think that having both an ad sense and a pay to win system is making the average player go through systems that cancel each other out theoretically. You cant have a strict dictatorship and a free press

Look at the first post. You are more likely to get auto balanced out of blue if you don't spend money on the server. One point I was top scoring, I switched to blue and I was the only one killed

You aren't retarded for saying perk, however you seem to be making some clear difference between "perks" (things that don't pose advantages) and advantages as if one is even present. I don't believe it's completely random however I don't know how the autobalance system works, just that we haven't modified it for Jailbreak besides donators being more likely to stay on BLU. From the "Interested in donating?" thread where it lists perks for the two types of VIP, with the more expensive VIP having this perk:

No but you seem to be trying to put us in a bad light by calling us scummy for not admitting we are "pay to play," and comparing us to Battlefront 2 but I digress. Demo is disabled on some Jailbreak servers for balance issues I believe. If you wish we allow it to be freely used on our Jailbreak servers than you can make a different suggestion about it.

I'll make this simple as it seems essential.

1. This auto-balance system is entirely random AND is enacted when there are too many players on blue. You don't even know if you were switched due to an admin or VIP being online.
2. There are no VIP perks that are pay to win. Resizing could be argued, however, it's illegal and abusing VIP results in a loss of privileges.
3. You have no reason to be upset about what has happened, hundreds of players have are auto-balanced daily and don't have issue.
4. At no point have you been denied full access to the essentials of the game, and you have never been lied to. It is advertised in the server that VIP's get first chances to be on blue team.
5. Almost every community has this system implemented, the fact that you chose to complain here because we're active and attentive is regressive.

Unless you have an actual suggestion or change to the system I'm going to seriously consider closing this thread as it's turned into a pointless argument/flame war.

I agree with everyone that has already stated their points. There is no way that almost anyone would see this as an unfair advantage. If you remove the (as you said) "advantages" that VIP's get, other than people wanting to donate out of the kindness of their hearts to help the community, there would be very little reason for people to donate. As far as all of the other perks that VIP's get, using them for an advantage (i.e. killing while resized/recolored) is considered abusing their privileges and is grounds for removal of their permissions. The auto-balance system in TF2 is the same for all game modes with it active (even in casual/comp) where you have to actually die in order to get balanced. It has nothing to do with the leaderboard because everyone has stories of them carrying a team in a game just to be autobalanced at the last minute and lose. To say it is a Wonderland or any other community specific feature is just absurd.

We aren't pay to play, we grant a perk to do maters to encourage donating and makes the JB server safer and better moderated. You are just showing your lack of understanding of what pay to play is.

1 we grant access to all cosmetics and we do give perks like that already.

2 we don't have a pay2win system, the blue team isn't winning nor is it pay2win to make sure a trusted player gets on blue team when other players can also get on it as well.
The server costs a lot of money without both sources of income we would be forced to close some.

3 No congressman or FCC would care or have any power to enforce us to do anything. We aren't a US server network nor do they care about game servers.
