1) AFK Timer - 3 minutes until autobalanced to red team.
It frankly annoys me how many AFK's will usually not get autobalanced and stay on blue. This pretty much is a guaranteed way to disadvantage the blue team and there's next to nothing that the reds who want to join blue team can do about this AFK person.

2) Guard Ban upon entering the server - Requiring 1 hour of gameplay as a prisoner
I think it should be required for new people entering the server to not be able to join blue team until completing at least 1 hour of gameplay as a prisoner. My hope would be that this would hopefully give that person some time to adapt to the server rules before they join on blue team.

I'm not even sure if these things are entirely possible, but I want Jailbreak to be fun and enjoyable, just as much as the next guy.

???
1st one kind of makes sense, and the 2nd one does look interesting, but if you were to increase the time i could feel like agreeing

overall im neutral, leaning to
+1 for both

maybe if the guard ban were to be 2-4 hours it would probably make sense?

also if the AFK timer were to be placed it should put them in spectator (and eventually kick them)

players should be able to read the rules before playing but idk.

i don't play jailbreak at all so idk why there would be AFK blu's

  1. As stated previously in this (now merged) thread I support some form of AFK timer for BLU team. Not sure if it should be made three minutes though, as that may be a bit too strict. I am more in favor of five minutes.
  2. Ok so for the sake of argument let's assume this is possible (which I assume it is). Anyway, on one hand I get your argument, as it would probably minimize a good amount of rule-breaking from newbies and trolls using alts, and in general people new to our Jailbreak servers should not be playing BLU team anyway, however I fear it just can't work.
    1. Firstly, I feel like it will alienate newcomers onto the servers, as they will see they need to wait an hour on RED team to even play a good portion of the game. We always need to try to be appealing to newcomers on the servers, and this certainly won't be a selling point. I guess though then the debate arises if the rule-breaking that will be stopped by this type of system would outweigh that.
    2. However, also it should be considered that this certainly will not be a definitive solution. A one hour guardban is, while not pleasant, also not that long. If people really want to cause issues, or just don't care, they will wait out the ban.
So overall I support the first suggestion and I do not support the second as I am dubious of if it would be a net benefit to us.

Should keep separate suggestions to different threads @Preacher Platinum , but I also support adding back firing if at least like 3/4's of the server agrees to it. Sure there is potential for abuse but if most of the server wants someone fired then I'd imagine there's at least some form of issue being caused by the warden.
