I have never really wanted an unusual hat. IDK why. I only really wanted australium/special weapons and certain cosmetics like the BMOC and earbuds to wear as well as to trade (back when they were worth like £50 each lol). And I actually DID end up completing my wish-list. I got most of the australium weapons except the pan and I think one other and ALL the cosmetic items I wanted. Sold or gave them all away when I quit TF2 a couple ears ago. Now I run around in JB pretending to be an f2p freekiller with just a pair of worthless earbuds on haha
I do remember trying to get my hands on an unusual Gibus at some point but the trade never went through :( Otherwise, I never really kept any unusuals for long. Only to trade with.
Although, my wishlist def includes a golden pan
