i would be willing to use my mapping skills to remove it
and not mess up the rest of the map in the process, although you would need the original mappers permission.
It shouldnt be hard, im fairly sure its just a trigger_hurt entity, in combination with a breakable and trigger_multiple entity to lock it once one person has passed thorug. although all you would have to do is just remove them all, and edit the surrounding brushes to make it look nice. maybe even a conveyor could be added to the end, like on the maps Deathrun
