Gotta go with CS:S. While I believe that CS:GO has a higher skill ceiling and is generally more complex— Source definitely being the easier of the two— I just love the way CS:S looks and how it feels to play.

Gameplay wise, it has to be CS:S. Guns seem a lot more smoother when shooting. When it comes to player base, I’m sticking with the game everyone is familiar with; CS:GO. I’ve met lots of fun and entertaining people that have made my day.

Because you have a bigger and younger Community and a propper Valve Matchmaking system with Competitive that is actually playable.

Only upside on CS Source are mods tbh. So if you really like and care about mods. You might want to play CSS
