I'll be honest, I like both, they both have appeal to me, to say the least.
Furries were born or atleast popularized from Sally Acorn (Antropromorphic Chipmunk) from the Sonic (Sat-am) cartoon, as she became an iconic sex symbol, notably due to the lack of clothing as well as certain characteristics associated with attractive females within some peoples taste.

Seedrians were born from Cosmo and her race from Sonic X, although the term "Seedrian" is not official, this is what the community refer to them as.
I suspect part of their appeal is from the feminine association with flowers, leaves and skirted or tight fit clothing.

The furry community is a lot bigger, mostly because they have had longer to express themselves as a group, as well as people not thinking about plants based lifeforms as living or potentially attractive things as much.
Which do you prefer and perhaps why in your opinion?
