Accepted Confused as to why I'm banned.

I have been banned for having a "duplicate account."

3.) Tell us why we should unban you:
When I tried to join today, it said I was banned. I have not played TF2 since 2018-ish for personal reasons, I did play for a bit in 2020, but that was because of quarantine and I only played on Valve servers for that time. I am very confused as to why it says "duplicate account" as I have only had this one account and have never had any other Steam accounts. I would like to know if I could be unbanned, as I used to enjoy playing on your servers a lot.

Do you recognise this account by any chance? Do you also remember if you connected with a VPN when you got banned?

No, I do not recognize that account. and I have been very careful to never play any online games with a VPN. I only use a VPN for streaming services like Netflix.
