Competitive?

The tf2 comp scene seems to only engage a small percentage of the whole tf2 community. So, I'd like to ask here: have you ever been in, or considered joining a comp team? And no, valve comp doesn't count.

I played silver HL, steel 6s, and subbed for a gold 6s team
played pyro in HL, and subbed soldier for both 6s teams

For me, I played a season of silver HL as pyro and have rung for several HL and 6's teams ranging from silver to plat. I also was on a roster for a silver 6's team for their preseason scrims, but never ended up playing with that team.

I used to be in a team as a medic, we was very good (back in the day) and after a while the team just slowly fell apart.

Not too interested in competitive TF2 honestly. I know I'm never gonna be good at an FPS game, so I don't really bother LOL. I'll stick to fighting games for now.

I've been thinking about joining some sort of 6s team come summer when I have more time. Relive the glory days of playing with friends in a serious environment could be a nice change of pace. It will also be nice because hopefully by then I'll have a new computer.

Unfortunately no, I'm glad living in the a JB environment only (that and after a year of non-serious play I have gotten worse) and I'm unfortunately saving for a holiday AND a pc at the same time.

I hate that you've given up on that, but I hope all goes well for you saving for a new pc and holiday. I just recently bought a new computer that I've been saving up for for almost 3 years now. I'm probably going to get to put it together this friday.

I've been in numberous seasons of Highlander Plat as sniper/spy. Playing both in high/mid from time to time. Still waiting for those other medals that are soon to come.

Haven't and probably won't in the near future since I'm not really good at the game. This is due in part to a lack of actual in-game fighting/training, as I'm administrating or doing something in general non combat-related a lot of the time.
